When someone sent me a screenshot of Villa's prices, with the caption 'look at their prices ' I genuinely thought, naively, that Villa had done it well. And where it said 'Adult STH - £97' I thought that was the price for all tickets as a package, for the 4 home games. Just under £25 per game - smashed it, well done! How wrong I was

This seems interesting. It's like the PL took umbrage over the letter before action and thought 'fvck it. If they're going to threaten us, we'll hit them with the complaint and alleged PSR breach' now. Even though one could hazard a guess that the PL perhaps had an inkling their rules weren't watertight and I would also imagine they suspected LCFC wouldn't fight back to such an extent.

How much did De Marco really need to say in the hearing(s) if all he had to point out was a) PL rules were up to a certain date and b) LCFC were not a PL club within that date range. Even I could have done that and got paid hundreds of thousands

That's not the same. Prices are already known at the time of release of whatever category the event is placed in. Dynamic pricing goes a step further in that the price could change at any given time, and more likely to be extremely expensive the closer the event gets, even though you're watching the same thing from possibly the same viewpoint...
