Not too bad a half overall. Started steady, increased the momentum and got the goal, tailed off a bit then saw the half out. Faes very good with the blocks. Skipp and Winks doing well. Ndidi likewise and especially to win the ball back high and set up Vardy. Have to keep it tight first 10-15 mins. Clichéd but their fans are already on their backs so if we can keep that pressure up on them then it'll serve us well to try and kick on and get another goal. Would still like to see us be a bit more threatening on goal - we're good at winning the ball back but would like to see us have more sustained possession in their half.

Skipp has done well. He's done quite well carrying the ball forward and has a bit of pace about him.

Ah that was the chance to go 2 up. Mavididi has had a good game but he should hit the target as a bare minimum.

Helped out defensively a few times but yeah, when you want a winger attacking their defence to help out Vardy and Mavididi, he's not the answer.

They've influenced that changed a bit - Wharton playing further afield and playing the ball quicker forward. Gotta hold on til half time, or nab a second...

Sherwood is not good at all. Gotta be somewhat impartial but he sounds so dejected when Man City score.

Faes nearly did with a backpass

I don't think he was that good vs Villa. At least not in the role/position (which did seem like an attacking midfielder). Wasn't passing well, didn't win the ball much in their half, wasteful in possession. It's disappointing on Cooper's behalf that he plays him there. It's disappointing that we don't have any other fit options and that this is the only starting line up he's persisting with.

But his actual performances?
