  1. I know this forum sometimes has an inability to consider two arguments concurrently, but here’s your daily reminder that this is the fault of both the PL (EFL) and Jon Rudkin. thanks
  2. Club shop auction for Top’s mates… not sure why they didn’t ask for PSR avoidance ideas sooner !
  3. Hmm I don’t know, there are two sides to this particular story. On one hand, allowing Brendan Rodgers to take over our club was a complete **** up. Giving him a summer off of selling a player and not refreshing the side when it mattered, and when we did, buying absolute garbage; that was a complete horror show from the club. But then you look at the expectations from the EFL. This is a European regular who won multiple things in recent years now down in their shithole league. Ironically because we stopped spending when others who have been charged didn’t. You can be ****ed off with both sides of this. It’s ultimately us fans who will pay the price.
  4. ****ing shit league full of shit clubs. Good god I can’t stand another 10 years of this.
  5. We also had a net spend of +62m this summer, so it’s quite obvious that they’ve imposed this now that we made them look silly with the business plan loophole. Fully expect dodgy refs for 9 games.
  6. The 20/21 choice not to sell anyone and trust Rodgers wholeheartedly was a horrific decision by our ownership. It’s totally normal to feel aggrieved about the governance of this while thinking our board is a joke. Both of those things at play have really tripped us up.
  7. Mate since then we’ve won three cups and competed in Europe thrice. With an average net spend of circa -20m quid. Really? Your beloved Leeds have had windows where reported losses were 200m and you still couldn’t avoid the drop. Why are you even logging on here to talk about this
  8. Proof please.
  9. This is spot on. I’m also currently trying to do a quick analysis of clubs who have won three or more trophies over the last 8 years. There are essentially five: LCFC Manchester City Manchester United Liverpool Arsenal We didn’t even come close to any of their spend, and yet FFP is claiming that we used resources above our means to gain competitive advantage. How is that possible when each of the above spent billions in comparison? In terms of success, we should be compared to a similar pool of clubs. I don’t want to hear that we were at an advantage over Everton, Forest et al, because we weren’t. We stopped spending unlike them and paid the price. Useless comparison in the grand scheme. But confirms what we knew - you can try to compete but don’t win. We don’t like that here unless you are one in the boys club. All of this is making me sick.
  10. **** the EFL ringing round grounds for 9 games
  11. Less so… but still ****ed
  12. Give the people what they need
  13. Nick de marco duh duh duh duh
  14. We have to ****ing win this. We’re ****ed down here in this league. Hope everyone has woken up
  15. I was incredibly disheartened returning to the King Power for the first time in circa 7 years the other week. I can tell you for a fact that bar UFS and a few dotted here and there, that this fan base will never do or support a movement that strong. I’d ****ing love it, but our fans have sleepwalked into this just as much as our ownership have. How am I reading ‘Leicester City are surprised’… most of us with a shred of financial literacy saw this the moment Brendan and the Covid party willy pullers dropped us out of the top four.
  16. Oh no, anyway…
  17. Oh no, anyway…
  18. Ah yes, stop giving the club your money while they will compete against a wage to revenue ratio calculation from next year. I am massively anti KPFC at the minute, but voices need to be heard in the stands and boardroom while we keep our club alive with our ££s
  19. His distribution was excellent yesterday. If that’s the level of improvement to expect when he has weaknesses, we might have a seriously good (and free) keeper on our hands here
  20. Haha what a lie
  21. But it factually didn’t advance us. The worst possible outcome happened in the Premier League, which is to be relegated… the spending didn’t give us an advantage over anyone for the period referenced. I say we rebalance in the summer if we get up, slash the wage bill with all the outgoings and sell 1 or 2. Free transfers to fill the gaps and a few big money signings. We can take a 2-4 point hit every year for three years for all I care.
  22. Something I think a lot of people are missing is that there is a factor here around using finances to get ahead. We factually didn’t in the year of our ‘breach’ - we got ****ing relegated That’s surely worth 2 less points in the deduction at least.
  23. Get them all out to Dubai
  24. I always think, if you’re getting a ban anyway, might as well go and lamp Chilwell doing it. What’s the point otherwise?
  25. I say he’s a dirty scrounger
