I remember the tube ride back to Kilburn where my Uncle lived vividly. My Dad came was so close to chinning some cocky Swindon **** until my Mum made him see sense!!
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Think the build up to and the moment Thompson scored IS the loudest noise I have ever heard at a match - ended up around 6 rows down from my seat once the celebrations calmed down and couldn't see any of the four guys I went with but what a moment. The ref robbed us of potentially the most incredible comeback ever and can't describe the feeling of utter despair for a few days after the game.This...The only game of football I've attended where I shed a tear We wuz wobbed.! The 'Jo-a-chim' stuff still makes me laff though...
