Because of the great demand I have decided to do another story thread. This time it will be suitable for the younger readers on here. This will lessen the risk of it being removed..

Flopsy the rabbit hopped merrily along the hedgerow. It had been a busy day for Flopsy, her mate Fluffy and 9-fold litter. It was getting dark now and the rest of the family had gone home. Flopsy had stayed behind to give birth to her second litter. They were too small to take with her so she left them sleeping safely under a bush.

Flopsy had started to cross the road when she a carrot lying on the tarmac. 'Ah 'supper' she thought and hopped towards the carrot. She did not see the approaching lights.

Meanwhile Fluffy being worried had returned to search for Flopsy. He stared in horror at the sight. He wanted to shout out a warning but could not because he was a rabbit and did not have the power of speech.. He turned his head and prayed to the rabbit God Bugs.

Will Flopsy be saved or will she be turned into instant rabbit fricasé.

Is it to be Enid Blighton or Stephen King?
