I hate Leeds and I don't actually think that they'll be very good at all. They'll probably do what Derby did last season and just avoid relegation.
Scow Posted 15 July 2004 Posted 15 July 2004 Premiership Arsenal - They were just a class above last season. Championship: Wolves - Despite not strengthening, they still have a basis of a good squad, and I'm sure they will bring in a few more players before kick off. Sunderland - Close to Automatic promotion last year, I think they will take that step further next season - Especially if they get Connolly. :!: Leicester - More optimism than anything else. I think we have a good spine of a side with Walker in goal, Elliott at the back, Williams in midfield, and Dublin upfront. Just the numbers in the squad that concern me at the moment.... League One Swindon - Close to promotion last year, and are building a decent squad. Sheffield Wednesday - Disappointing last season, but Turner hasn't had it easy. He's the right man for the job. He's a Wednesday supporter so he wants the best for the club. Bristol City - Sacked Danny Wilson, but they have the players to challenge again. League Two Mansfield - Missed out in the play offs, but have a good manager and will recover. Northampton - Were the form team for the second part of last season. Lincoln - Been challenging for promotion for the past few seasons. Notts County - Gary Mills will get them sorted. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who's going down? Premiership Palace, Norwich, West Brom - All 3 lack quality going forward. Championship Gillingham, Watford, Burnley - All 3 struggled last season, just avoided the drop. Especially Burnley - They barely have a squad at the moment. League One Mk Dons, Chesterfield, Peterborough, Torquay - Mk Dons in free fall (Good) Chesterfield and Peterborough struggle again, Torquay will lack quality. League Two Darlington, S****horpe - Both just avoided the drop, not this time....
