Sturridge set to play

Dean Sturridge is set to hand Dave Jones a striking boost by returning to the squad for tomorrow's visit of Leicester.

And Wolves closed in on South Korean Seol Ki-Hyeon who was having a medical today with a view to signing a long-term contract at Molineux in a £1.1m switch from Anderlecht.

The striker, part of the South Korea side that reached the World Cup semi-finals in 2002, will not be available for the weekend's double header with the Foxes and Ipswich while he waits for a work permit.

But I understand Seol's arrival will not be the end of Wolves' striker search, with the Molineux club also lining up another target.

Injuries to Vio Ganea, Carl Cort, George Ndah and Sturridge have left Kenny Miller as Jones' only fit senior striker during the early weeks of the season, thrusting rookie Leon Clarke into the glare of first team football as his partner.

But Sturridge has now returned to training following the hamstring injury he sustained during Wolves' opening game at Stoke.

And Jones hinted that the 31-year-old could make an immediate return to action.

"Dean has returned to training and he has looked quite good," said Jones. "Now it is just a case of seeing how he feels."

You watch, the bugger will score against us.......

To be honest, I would be shocked if Wolves scored against us, even the way we're playing at the moment. I think our defence should be too strong for those mentioned.

Oh yeh, of course it would be an ex-Leicester player

Hmm, why? Sturridge is useless. The two Wolves had up front against Mansfield were good, Miller and Clarke. They should stick with them two, experience and youth

You mean vs Rochdale?

Miller has always impressed me really, just the type of player to do well against us too, quick. <_<

Yes Rochdale :( Getting mixed up with us drawing Mansfield in the next round, possibly

Never said I liked or disliked him, just that he's injury prone....

No good having a good player that doesn't play! *cough* Morris *cough*

I didnt particularly like him. He played brilliant against Derby away but what else did he do really? I wasnt bothered when he left. I bet Micky wishes he was still here though , he would of been perfect for Micky - injury prone :w00t:
