Teeno Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 Fistly I'm absoloutly disgusted with the team and Adams. Was please Wilcox didn't feature but Jordan Stewart was bloody awfull, he doesn't deserve to be in the squad and I'd much rather have Alan Rogers play than him. But we have found a new hero in Danny Tiatto who was absoloutly awsome, one of the most brave, commited and hard working players I've seen for years. Nalis played well again, so did Keown other than his mistake. Dublin, Connolly, Heath were poor not to mention Jordan Stewart. Micky Adams hasn't got a clue though. Why bring Blake on and not Benjamin? Why didn't he take Jordan off? Why did he take our best player Tiatto off? Why did he not play Dabizas at all? A lot of questions to be answered. On paper the team should do well, but the manager is holding them back. It really is a must win game now on Monday.
dhermon Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 tiatto had cramps thats why he came off you try running with cramp i can tell you from exp its a bitch

dhermon Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 it sounded on radio that he just ran his heart out today but blake for connolly was strange why both him and benji on the bench it felt from listening that he held off with the subs a little to long i wonder if he will ever get his subs right :w00t:
Connoly Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 it has to be said that wolves slightly out-classed us today. Our defence was not impressive, particularly keown, who was at fault for the goal. dublin poor

No way did they out class us, we had the better chance and on another day could of won by a massive score.
Guest Daniel Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 Teeno i hope you start realising ive been right for a year now, adams out.
Teeno Posted 28 August 2004 Author Posted 28 August 2004 Teeno i hope you start realising ive been right for a year now, adams out. 15782[/snapback] I bet you're thinking I told you so. I've gave Adams a lot of respect and time now I'm not he's made some major cock ups and I'm not one bit happy. Signings are good but his team selections are bizare. Wilcox, stewart and Blake shouldn't even be in the 16. I'm really really frustrated.
mad biker Posted 28 August 2004 Posted 28 August 2004 C`mon you lot, wake up and smell what you`re shovelling !! we did bluddy well today, a point at Wolves is not a bad result, they were without a win remember and were the home side, they most certainly did NOT out class us, we dominated most of the first half and played very well, including Jordy !! after we scored they, as you would expect, come into the game a bit but we still more than held our own, second half I`ll agree Jordy had a bit of a mare BUT if MA had taken him off the only option would have been to drop Tiatto, by far our most threatening player, into the left back role, and none of us wanted that, The mistake for Wolves`s goal came from Sticks, NOT Keown who had a brilliant game for us, in fact defensively today we were very good, some brilliant last ditch stuff from us, and as for this stupid "Benjamin the savior" crap listen to yourselves will you ! the bloke scored a stunner at Derby OK, but don`t expect that on a regular basis, I won`t even comment on the anti Adams twats, they aint worth wasting my breath on !! I`ll just get on with what 99% of us do, getting right behind Micky and the players, Bring on the seagulls !!!
DesertFox Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 Absolutely spot on, Mad Biker. A point today is a good result. I love all this 'Adams hasn't got a clue' stuff from the renowned footballing geniuses that frequent this board.... you boys should take over, you'd be soooooo good at it!
kerryh Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 We certainly weren't outplayed, but we weren't outstanding either. We started so well, I just wish Walker would stop hoofing the ball up everytime he gets a goal kick - it's worked once this season for us but he can't keep trying to re-live that moment. The team needs something, but a new manager isn't it. Adams isn't a quitter anyway and I can't see the board releasing him. Keep The Faith - I'm sure we'll come good soon! Looking on the brightside we're on Sky tomorrow - we always seem to play well on TV!
Sparky Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 a point at wolves isnt a bad result and i would have took that from the start , keown and heath look the best option at centre half and did well apart from heath putting his arm up to get keown to leave it when miller scored . i know there is an anti scowcroft brigade on here but i thought he was excellant yesterday...................................i was on the front row yesterday and i could see scowy a few rows behind me and i think i may have seen blue mistress for the first time , were u wearing a burberry cap bm?
Hullfox Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 Thank God there are some voices of reason here. People seem to expect us to win every game we play by three or four goals and in the style of Brazil in the 70's - it ain't gonna happen. Whilst we are all entitled to our opinions, some of you don't seem to think everything you say through which makes you look silly. At the beginning of the season, we would have taken a point at Molineux if it was offered no ifs, no buts. Yes we would have expected to have beaten Watford at home but by the same token we knew all along we weren't going to do an Arsenal and go unbeaten for 46 games. As for claims that some of you were calling for Mickey's head a year ago, please tell me what on earth that was based on bearing in mind he had led us to promotion and we were three games into the Premiership campaign. We are not playing particularly well at the moment but I for one can see the potential. Yes, some of the players we have signed will not work out but that happens at every club under every manager. The key for me is that we are making chances in every game. When we start taking them better we will click. When we click we will grow in confidence and the climb up the table will commence.

Did you buy them instead of a wolves ticket, because you obviously wernt there from what you said.
Cat Burger Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 Keown misdjudged the flight of the Goalies punt out. His error
Hullfox Posted 29 August 2004 Posted 29 August 2004 How much them blue tinted glasses set you back? Probably not as much as your burberry cap i'm guessing
