I'm under the impression the orders of home/away will be HAHAAH or AHAHHA, and the order of days will be TWTWTW or WTWTWT, all depending on which group we're drawn into. Assume this makes sense.

Once the group draw is made the 4 teams in each group are listed in alphabetical order, so if our group was:

 

Ajax

Leicester

Porto

Real Madrid

 

Ajax would be team 1

Leicester team 2

Porto team 3

Real Madrid Team 4

 

The fixtures are then worked out as follows:

 

Match Day 1       2 v 3      4 v 1

Match Day 2       1 v 2      3 v 4

Match Day 3       3 v 1      2 v 4

Match Day 4       1 v 3      4 v 2

Match Day 5       3 v 2      1 v 4

Match Day 6       2 v 1      4 v 3

 

Each group is given a letter from A to H and match days are worked out as follows:

 

Match Day 1       A – D (i1st day)                    E – H (2nd Day)

Match Day 2       E – H (1st Day)                    A – D (2nd Day)

Match Day 3       E – H (1st Day)                    A – D (2nd Day)

Match Day 4       A – D (1st Day)                    E – H (2nd Day)

Match Day 5       H – E (1st Day)                    A – D (2nd Day)
