Cake and plain biscuits are deemed to be food, chocolate biscuits etc. are a luxury (maybe Marie-Antoinette wrote the law?).

 

What about the law governing VAT on gingerbread men (see previous link)?

No VAT if they just have 2 chocolate eyes, but VAT charged if they have chocolate trousers. :D

Gingers should be taxed too extinction..........oh the biscuits sorry I misread. :D
