cisono Posted 29 September 2005 Posted 29 September 2005 Mind you, its hard to want Tiatto anywhere in the side because he is a liability.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Sheehan, it's honestly taken long enough for him to step up to the plate in the left back position and he's got a lot more to offer than Gilbert (who hasn't honestly shown any massive potential yet) and apart from those two I wouldn't really consider anyone else for the role - Johansson has proven himself to be a CB rather than a LB and Kisnorbo? Well I'd say no but I haven't seen him personally so it's a harder one to judge from my perspective.
cisono Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 I voted Wilcox (for the moment) but could have gone for Sheehan too.

Well I'd say no but I haven't seen him personally so it's a harder one to judge from my perspective. I've seen Kisnorbo several times and he's okay. Athletic, reliable, determined, fairly versatile, simple passer. Everything that lots of players are in fact but he asks few questions of the opposition, he doesn't do anything especially creative. Good enough sub when you want some energy but in Sheehan's class?. Never in his life. Sheehan is more than just a full back and partnered by a tall, dominate central defender he'd also make a super sweeper. I seriously don't think it impossible that Sheehan could become the best home grown left back in the UK - and sooner rather than later.
