Head Honcho Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 Don't know if it's common knowledge but just found out that Tommy Tejan-Sie who's in the reserve squad for tonights game was also an Arsenal Trainee. I hope we are starting some kind of trend here. It's about time we took advantage of all these unwanted ex-trainees from the Premiership teams.-Just because they're not wanted by the big clubs doesn't mean they aren't good players

That is one of the things Levein wanted to do when he came here, he wanted to make sure we were in the hunt for all the top talent around the midlands and also the country.
Ric Flair Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 By the way, how did you know he came from Arsenal? Do you know anything else about him?

Gené and Tonic Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 I'm loving what Levein is doing with regard to developing the young talent Didn't Neil Kilkenny once play for our reserves a while back?

Yeah, he played a couple of times for us on trial but Micky Adams decided he didn't ****in want him and let him go. Birmingham then signed him about 2 months later. What an idiot Adams was/is.
Gené and Tonic Posted 4 October 2005 Posted 4 October 2005 Yeah, he's brilliant at bringing through young talent
