In the days of Lineker, Lynex and Smith we took the lead with around 10 minutes to go, and looked in control. They came back with two goals - Woodcock and Davis, I think - to win it late on. Also remember Andy Peake and Charlie Nicholas being sent off after a scuffle

Russell King was his name - convinced Sven and others that he had the financial backing to take Notts County through the leagues - Sol Campbell was a recruit, as was Kasper. Can't remember if there were any other well known names that were involved
