This is actually Rioch playing for Derby. What they used to do, usually when a player transferred to a new club when they didn't have an up to date photo, is to 'repaint' the colour of the shirt to the new team. They did it with Chris Garland when he joined us!

Same here. I think one reason is that there weren't as many players in a team, and most spent a few years at the club so you got accustomed to them. Today, they're chopping and changing every year
