We could all stop moaning about Adams do you think? He is our Manager and until otherwise I think we should stop all the moaning, it's so dull.

Obviously post matches we can all moan a bit about the game - and selections whatever - but this constant barrage is really rather boring now...

Am i alone in thinking this?

With all due respect Alex, forums like this are here to debate all things Leicester City.

It depends on what you mean by 'moaning' - I tend to look at it as criticism - Some constructive, some not. I think this and other forums tend to have a balance between the two. Unavoidable really.

And a great one it was.

Scowie, I am all up for that - at the right time, it just seems that the anti-Adams sentiment is all this forum is really being used for, all of the time, and it gets tiring IMO.

I wasted a lot of money watching the Foxes over the Bank Holiday weekend, and I have a young child, I am in no position to be throwing money away on performances as poor as Brighton and am happy to criticise the team for that - but not Adams, not yet.

Since that game Adams has said the right things and I believe on the training ground certain players have been well and truly bollocked - if all this doesn't work and we're here at Xmas then let's all start pondering a change - but it's all a bit futile at this stage of the season IMO.

A fair point.

If you can't post your thoughts and feelings, as long as they're not abusive or threatening, then it's a sad world we live in.

I'm not suggesting that Lisa, just maybe that we all stop having a dig at Adams for a while, for my money the players and fans deserve stick too - where are the frigging fans anyway? Pisses me off.

As is usually the case with this type of discussion we are probably all putting forward valied thoughts. I think it's been worse just lately and I must add somewhat depressing because not only have the team performed badly there is no particular common bond with the players as they are all new. On top of that we've had no game this weekend to either get it out of systems or to identify any lights at the end of the tunnel.

Apart from Tiatto there is hardly anything positve one can think of to talk about on the LCFC side, even England were a disappointment.

Do you really expect us to put up with thsi till Xmas?

If we don't beat Rotherham then he has to go, simple as. If we win then we'll see.if we're not in the top 1/2 after 10 games then it's deffinatly goodbye.

I am trying my hardest to stay off Mickeh's back, and in the past I would of done. But the dreadful start to the season has got alot of us asking the same questions again, which points the finger to Adams and his reluctance to learn from his mistakes. When things are going wrong everything gets looked at in detail as to why we aren't performing and obviously if we were top of the table none of us would be thinking these things. The fact is, for a season or so Adams has been doing lots of things which in my opinion aren't good for the football club in the long run. He promised us that he would learn from his mistakes of last season, putting together a young and vibrant team. He also again stressed how essential it was for us to have wingers supplying crosses for our front two. The latter statement is a complete joke considering he plays James Scowcroft and Jason Wilcox on the wings, he surely learnt last season the horrendous time we had down the flanks. It's not only just these two things, it's the arrogance and the reluctance to try anything different. He won't swallow his pride when things are going against him and try something new, he will just talk in his third person mode and claim he doesn't make excuses but persist on making them 30 seconds later.

Now, i'm willing to get behind him if he can turn things around. I'll forget about his love for experience, his love of long ball, his reluctance to learn from his mistakes, his negligence towards our youth players, his wild substitutions, his horrible tactics and refusal to play wingbacks when it's obvious our squad would be suited to it or atleast worth trying it. I will forget all that if he can get us promoted, which shouldn't be hard with the squad of players we have. He hasn't got a difficult job to do this season, it's twice as easy as the last time we were in this league so he has no excuses. If he does his job properly he'll get us back up and earn some more respect, but the jury is out on him.

He's a very nice chap, and I don't like abusing him but he's managing my team who were around along time before 'Micky Adams' walked in and if things aren't going remotely right then there's gonna be carnage. He has players at his disposal to rip this league apart, but for reasons beknown he is making us look embarassing.

Sort it Mickeh and you'll have your respect back, continue in your shocking ways and you'll have an uneasy next few months mate.

Excellent post, Hoof. :)

We have probably spent the most in terms of wages/fees than any other club in this division over the summer, and we found ourselves 19th in the league after six games. Granted, it's only six games, but we should not be losing at home to the likes of Watford and Brighton. - Continually referring to the fact that the 'team' still needs to gel is not a good enough excuse IMO. These players are professionals, they spend enough time on the training ground to realise what their fellow players can or can't do, what sort of runs and positions they take etc.

The problem so far seems to arise from certain players not applying themselves, and poor management. It's the players that go out on the pitch to do the job, but it's the manager who chooses the team, what formation we adopt, who takes the set pieces etc. To be honest, we've looked a shambles at times. I'm not sure if it's to do with this 'rotational' system Micky was harping on about at the Pepsi Max tournament where players swap positions - I.e Wilcox and Stewart. But surely something like that doesn't maintain any continuity or consistency in the team? It might be fine to play this type of system if we could actually retain the ball, but we can't. Players look confused to me, especially when some were asked to play in 3 or 4 different positions against Brighton.

Rome may have not been built in a day, but football teams don't need that long to sort themselves out.

MA's has had over two full seasons at this club, and we are worse off now than when he first arrived with DB.

Perhaps if he didn't feel the need to start the season with a totally new squad, we might not need time for the players to 'gel'.

Perhaps if he kept a stable line up we would see some consistent performances.

Good stuff and let's not forget that it was MA's who created the level of expectation amongst the fans with his 'I will expect nothing other than a top 2 place'

He provided the ammunition for the gun that everyone is now firing.
