Gené and Tonic Posted 25 October 2005 Share Posted 25 October 2005 From BBC Sport Huddlestone joins Wolves on loan Tottenham have loaned midfielder Tom Huddlestone to Wolves for one month. The 18-year-old, who can also play at centre-back, has not featured in the Spurs first team since arriving from Derby for £2.5m in the summer. "He is a very good young player. He needs to be out on loan because he is not getting any football at Tottenham," said Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle. Meanwhile, Wolves' leading scorer Carl Cort will have an exploratory operation after sustaining a knee injury. The 27-year-old former Newcastle striker has suffered swelling around the joint and will undergo keyhole surgery in a bid to ascertain the extent of the problem. Good player. Glad he is getting some first team football under his belt. Wonder why Derby didn't come in for him.
