His reading of the game may well be very good, but does he put it into practice, ive not seen outstanding reading of the game.

Hes been ok with ariel ability, but not outstanding.

He organisies things? Again i dont see outstanding organisation from dubs.

You need to do better than that. All you`ve done is provide a discription of an average player. Can you honestly tell me that either macarthy, stearman or johanson at the back, have done less than what you described.

McCarthy has been very impressive lately, Stearman sometimes so without being truly dominant and Nils - well I'm not a big fan even at centre-back and especially judging by his performances with McCarthy earlier in the season. McCarthy/Gerrbrand are the pairing for the foreseeeable future on their performance so far.

Can see where I've said that in relation to player of the season so far.

I just feel that the McCarthy/Gerrbrand pairing has emerged almost overnight and looks assured. Don't think Dublin has done anything wrong at all and he would be my choice as substitute if McCarthy or Gerrbrand were injured.

As for Stearman I feel he's the way forward at right back (though there's not a lot in it between him and Maybury when both are playing well). I just feel Stearman has more versatility, speed of recovery and attacking nouse. Others have championed his cause far more strongly than me - and probably with just cause.
