Gené and Tonic Posted 27 October 2005 Share Posted 27 October 2005 From BBC Sport West Brom suffer Kirkland injury West Brom goalkeeper Chris Kirkland will miss their next two games after suffering a heavy knock during Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Bolton Wanderers. Kirkland bruised one of his kidneys and will now sit out the Premiership games against Newcastle and West Ham. "It's nothing serious but Chris has been advised to rest between two and four weeks," said boss Bryan Robson. Robson has duly recalled keeper Russell Hoult from his loan spell with League One outfit Nottingham Forest. Hoult was halfway through a second month on loan at the City Ground and played eight games for Gary Megson's side Hope he gets rid of all these niggling injuries, he's a local Barwell lad and it's good to see him do well. Matt Posted 27 October 2005 Share Posted 27 October 2005 Kirkland...Injured? Never! (Mind you atleast he plays the odd game every now and again unlike Mr Sicknote Morris!) Is Kirkland on the back of the Hinckley Times this week? Don't think there's many weeks pass by without Kirkland appearing on the back of the Hinckley Times!
