Shinji Okazaki Okazaki had a difficult time of things in the summer, signing for Segunda Division side Malaga in the summer before the club were forced to allow him to leave 34 days later, going over their salary cap. The Japan international then joined Huesca, who were relegated from La Liga to Segunda last season. He has since scored four goals in 20 league appearances, helping Huesca to third. Danny Simpson Simpson joined Huddersfield Town in the summer after his release. He has since made 16 league appearances, starting 15. The Terriers 20th in the Championship table, five points above the drop zone. Harry Maguire The most high-profile City departure of the summer was undoubtedly Maguire, the centre-back leaving for a world-record fee for a defender of around £80m. He hasn't had it easy in his first season at Old Trafford, but he has become a key figure both on and off the pitch. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named United's new club captain after Ashley Young left for Inter Milan this month. The Red Devils are currently fifth in the table, Maguire playing every minute of United's 23 Premier League games so far. Callum Elder Elder joined Championship outfit Hull City for an undisclosed fee in the summer. He has since started 15 Championship games, becoming a regular under Grant McCann. Hull are currently 12th and in with a shout of making a run for the playoffs. Alex Pascanu Pascanu was sold to Romanian outfit Cluj in the summer for around £500,000 but he has since been loaned out. The defender joined fellow Romanian top-flight team FC Voluntari, who are currently 10th. Pascanu has made just four league appearances, starting two. His parent club, Cluj, are top of the league. Max Bramley Goalkeeper Bramley struggled to find a new club. He is now with Leicestershire-based Barwell FC, who play in the Southern League Premier Division Central. Kairo Edwards-John Edwards-John is playing in the same league as Bramley, with Stratford Town, where he was joined by academy exile George Heaven. Davide Lorenzo Famous for being the 'Italian waiter' signed by City, Lorenzo is yet to find another club since his release in the summer. Habib Makanjuola The Nigerian midfielder is another who hasn't managed to find another club since leaving City. Alassane Meite Meite has had quite the change in scenary. He is now playing for Al-Fujairah SC in the UAE Gulf League. Louis Ramsay Ramsey joined Billericay Town in the summer after a successful trial. He has made four appearances in all competitions this season. Billericay are currently 16th in the table. Lamine Kaba Sherif The midfielder is currently with Accrington Stanley in League One. He has made five league appearances and four in the EFL Trophy this season. Stanley are 17th in the table. Elliott Moore The Coalville-born defender is with Oxford United in League One. Oxford are enjoying a fine season, currently in fifth and within six points of top spot.
