dean023 Posted 8 April 2020 Posted 8 April 2020 In the event of the season being finished behind closed doors the club have kindly said we can have a refund. I am proposing to those that can afford it and not in financial difficulties donate to a scheme set up by our supporter to go direct to the NHS and care workers once this is all over. My rebate would be £80 ish and we have 15000 on the auto renewal, so if 10% did it would £120,000 which could either provide holidays or equitment for the staff rooms (TV & ps4) or something along those lines This is just an idea and I am just asking if anyone would support this if the games were played behind closed doors. Kind regards Dean
LinekersLugs Posted 8 April 2020 Posted 8 April 2020 I’m with you on this BUT I would prefer to see it go to a community project in one of our deprived areas of the city and help lots of Kids the NHS trusts in this area have all got huge charity pots they are sitting on ! They need it open those to help staff and I know this as a family member is an admin for the fund For UHL
TrentFox Posted 8 April 2020 Posted 8 April 2020 Love the idea of it going into a more community focussed outlet. Given how much our owners have pumped into this city, what a wonderful show of unity it would be if the fans replicated that and matched the show of generosity and togetherness. Giving when everyone one of us is anxiously watching the pennies in our own accounts. The fact that I don’t have a season-ticket presently didn’t influence my response! 🤣🤣
