knightonfox Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 For once I have to give the city stewards some credit. Allowed supporters in L1 to stand for the whole game last night and never once asked anyone to sit. This is the first season i've been in L1 since moving from the kop. Have they ever allowed fans to stand before in previous years or is this a first? Am really hoping its come as a result of the meeting last week in which tim davies said that stewards needed to be more leniant. If we're allowed to stand on saturday when blades come along I reckon we could be in for a good atmosphere for a change. Hopefully L1 will be more full than last night.

It will have been a direct result of the meeting, so the club played it's part. The atmosphere wasn't greatly improved as a result though was it? Hopefully as most fans can't stand Warnock, we should create a more hostile (in an atmosphere sense) crowd towards the oppo & a more supportive of our own players. Difficult when not playing well, but we need to play our part regardless of what you think of the team selection
lush Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 Am really hoping its come as a result of the meeting last week in which tim davies said that stewards needed to be more leniant. If tim did allow this, its a bloody good job nothing bad happened, as he would`ve then been inline for the sack. FT "It will have been a direct result of the meeting, so the club played it's part." So you can confirm that tim was behind this ideology? "Hopefully as most fans can't stand Warnock" How true
Guest Posted 23 November 2005 Posted 23 November 2005 Oh do behave. Nothing bad happened, everyone had a good time, barring events on the field, just leave it.

Yes step in the right direction, so much for can't change won't change and your stupid comments about the meeting doing no good, stand up and sing!!
