gagandeep Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Adams seems to change everything but his 442. I believe we have the payers to be succesfull in a 352 formation -------------------------walker-------------------------------- -------------keown------dabizaz------heath/elliot---------------- ----canero-----------------------------------------------tiatto---- ----------------------------joey-------------------------------------- ---------------williams-----------------nalis------------------------------ ---------------scowy----------------connoly/wright----------------------- Dublin is past it.
Buzzell Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Looks a better formation and team then the normal 4-4-2!
Ash Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 I do like the 3-5-2 , i personally think we have players that are more suited to that formation aswell.So i say 3-5-2 ----------------------Walker------------------------- --------------Keown---Elliott---Stearman---------- Makin-----------------------------------------Tiatto ------------Gudjonsson--Williams----Nalis---------- --------------Connolly--------Wright-----------------
SamuearlJackson Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 not with MA in charge though. i've been banging on about this for ages now. Ashov's team looks pretty promising. I'd probably play Canero at RWB and have Makin on the bench. Also Scowcroft could play attacking mid where he played a lot of games for Ipswich. SamJ
Guest Daniel Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 Id look at Ashovs team and say a promotion side on paper, but wheres the motivation? We need a new manager.
Guest Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 MA's has already said we will play 4-4-2 this season. He is the kind of bloke who is so stubborn, he will stick to that, even if it means relegation.

Also sick to death of Micky ignoring some players regardless of decent performances ie Benji vs Derby and Wright in the reserves whilst he continually picks his own signings despite some shocking displays ie Blake and Dublin arrogance and stubborness of the highest order. Come on Micky football is a squad game if people arent performing then rest them and give someone who is on form a chance that you will keep players on their toes and generate better performances and competition for places rather than leaving half your players in the comfort zone and alienating the other half cos you have no faith in them.
MC Prussian Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 I'd go with neither with them, rather try a 4-3-1-2 with Dublin behind the two forwards in order to keep the high-flying balls down and feeding Connolly with good passes.

You have Tommy Wright and Nathan Blake on the bench. Nathan Blake has shown nothing in his appearances so far this season. Tommy Wright has been impressing in the reserves and scoring goals - Plus, he's had a full pre season. So where's the logic in choosing Nathan Blake? It's quite obvious Nathan Blake is continually chosen over Blake because he's his signing, irrespective of how poor he is. Micky Adams is too stubborn, and at times, arrogant. He needs to learn from his mistakes, quite clearly, he isn't.
step Posted 20 September 2004 Posted 20 September 2004 I would like to someone pass the ball to connely, all he recieves are high lobs that he has to try and head on, Another pathetic stratagy by MA
