Hi everyone

My latest article on the 3 players that stood out most for me and why on this link- https://foxesofleicester.com/2022/10/24/wolves-leicester-city-3-performers/

* Danny Ward - pretty good considering the amount of people were certain he was the worst premier league keeper of all time.

* Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - fantastic work rate and brilliant work on the ball

* Harvey Barnes - finally showing some consistency and frightening defenders again

who were your standouts?

(NOTE: the link has the odd pop up but if its read on an iphone or macbook it tends to be fairly easy to close the one pop up that i got. As its a good sized article it needs to go over a few pages - turn on your ad blocker settings as well as some feedback has been given that lots can pop up some time, think that might be on some devices that are a bit more exposed, let us know any feedback though. Just keen for my writing to find an audience, not worried about clicks - 😉  ✌️ )

✌️

Faes and Tielemans.

KDH for proving all the know-nothings on here who were calling him Championship standard to be idiots.

Vardy for continuing to prove (maybe to the same idiots) that he's still class.

Over this season Castagne and Madders for continuing to show class, determination and guts.

Ward may be gaining in confidence - Schmeichs is a hard act to follow.

Agree with all of that, only thing i'd pause on would be Vardy. He was okay when he came on and really pleased that he got his goal. But there's no doubt that his lack of pressing from the front when he starts games isn't at the level we need to play this aggressive pressing game. Feels like he's holding back sometimes but then he is 35 so credit where its due

He still has that positional intelligence, but is losing the incredible speed and timing he had. He saw Castagne's intention and positioned himself immaculately for the tap in. That instinct will always be there. He can still make a difference in a settled team/squad.
