Its not that the world cup stopped our momentum, it was part of the revolving cycle under Rodgers, go through terrible sustained runs broken by the odd run of a couple of wins, saving his job, all coinciding with better performances going against his way and philosophy, only to return to long runs of us being awful.

Unfortunately (Yes, unfortunately) we had abit of an upturn before the world cup saving his job, if it wasn't for that I believe he'd have gone far earlier.

Imagine saying your club "unfortunately started to win some games" lol Matt even for your standards that's just daft.

I beg to differ, this whole charade could have been over alot sooner, several times, before many kept coming out with the 'its too late' comments and imo that was looking at the best interests of the club going forward, long term.

The belief he's had several 'last chances' or 'if he loses this game he'll be gone' is telling and went on far more longer than it should have.

Total over analysis. Leicester City are not in trouble because of the World Cup.
