He would completely undo any foundations that were leaid down by Puel or Rodgers.

His style of play is the complete opposite to what we attempt to play at the moment. 

 

If the club want the team to play attractive football then they need to look at managers who also want to play this way. Benitez is certainly not one of them.

We have buggered the option to play our way out of this.

We need to win matches.

 

I'd say a big fat NO to big fat Benitez but he is the most appealing of a terrible list of options.

Wonder why he rejected us. He was obviously keen enough to speak to us about the role. 

 

Could have just come down to length of contract and his fee I guess.

 

Suspect Smith was ok with 8 game interim, with much lower fee.
