Coast to Coast Charity Fundraiser

This week I’ll be starting the Coast to Coast walk; 190 miles over 13 days from St Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay. It crosses the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, with plenty of hills along the way; the highest point being 2560ft (780m) apparently.

It's to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my Grandad who passed away 5 years ago after a battle with the disease. He did the walk solo back in the early 90s, so we’ll be following in his footsteps with the book he used and the notes he took (mainly about how bad the weather was).
