8 Ball Pool Cues/Snooker Cues

Currently looking at buying a 8Ball Pool cue, what's the difference between a 8ball cue and a snooker cue? 

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

8 ball pool cues are smaller than their snooker cue counterparts.

 

And both in turn are smaller than their plastic chonker murican counterparts.

 

8 ball size will give you more control over the white, however, if you are a novice/rusty starting with a snooker cue can be beneficial as you'll be less likely to miscue the ball.
