I do still think a top Premier League attack puts us to the sword more often than not. Yannick would have nightmares against Liverpool or Manchester City.

 

The likes of Sheffield United, Luton, Burnley, Forest, Everton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Wolves and Fulham, aren’t exactly light years ahead of us. Marginal differences, a bit more decisiveness from the board and I still don’t think we would, or should even be in this league to start with. 

Why worry about it now…!! and keep mentioning it every week..

Our whole set up is new,one does not buy a complete off the peg team,

one has build and develope it over a few seasons.We are just at the beginning.

We still have 17 games growth,plus a summer period to prepare for the next phases,and even then,we have to see it expand and evolve over next season.

 

one reason I believe at present,we see our Bline and midfield keep trying to get out of trouble,continually by repeating trying to play from the back..They are being drilled to keep to a certain method,perfection a forelorn target,but knowing the

backbone of the squad will still be here,one keeps developing squad and system together,it creates shape,style and character for the “SQUAD” even when there will be the odd individual natural football story changes…

Taggarts post match…We don’t select a defender has the guy who 

always at set pieces attacks the ball, all our defender drop back and wait to

react,instead of one being the man who tracks flight & says this is my ball.!!
