Thought I’d start this early. 
 

Series 2 of Unchained is out on 11th June; getting criticised because the latest trailer hints at asking questions about doping. I’m delighted to see that UAE team have allowed Pogi to be featured. Alaphillipe is featured too and appears a fascinating subplot of him and the team director not seeing eye to eye 
 

Some key bits of info for 2024
 

Cavendish put off retirement for a year in an attempt to get the stage wins record. Typically the route doesn’t have much opportunity for sprinters. 
 

Stage 9 has been criticised heavily for its gravel track sections. 
 

Starts in Florence with 4 stages featuring Italy, some we have some early Alpinnes and Alps action. 
 

No Paris finish due to the Olympics. Final stage is an individual time trail of Monaco to Nice. 
 

Climbs of Puy Mary, Tourmalet, Hourquette d’Ancizan, Col de Mente.
 

Stage 19 features two plus 2k metre climbs - finishing on Cima de la Bonette, 2,802 metres! The highest point on any Grand Tour ever! 
 

Stage 20 is a constant battle of climbing too. Any hopes of saving your legs before a trial time? No 

 

Pogacar and Thomas have both decided to the Giro. Respectively places 1st and 3rd at the moment while Vingegaaed rests up.
