Very well put. There’s also one article flying about that says only three clubs hit the necessary time frames to have any right to claim on Man City’s charges. This is the problem when you allow an organisation to self govern within any existing ‘framework’. The big six put pressure because they use the TV deal like a weapon. To the big six if it was solely about money, they’d have pushed for a TV deal like other countries where the splits are lob sided to the size of club/crowds/tv audiences. They keep the status quo to yield power and use that as a threat when they want things pushing through.

I don’t have too much hope for appropriate punishments given how the PL have dealt with Chelsea. I know Chelsea have successfully argued they voluntarily handed the information out. But it’s laughable they have got off Scot free for crimes which when other clubs have done has led to serious punishment in the case of Boston United, it completely sent them tumbling down the pyramid

Wasn’t that clear cut on Serie A in that example There is/was no winner of Serie A 2004/2005. The season after 05/06 because the charge was made with that season. Hence it makes a bit more sense that Juve were disqualified as the season was still ‘active’ - most of Juve’s board had resigned by the end of the season The Man City is more retrospective so you’d expect a scenario like 2004/2005

I love my challenges too. The monster hill in Bergen this year was an experience and my all time fav in the UK is Gedling. Just think Abbey Park is the least stressful and most ideal particularly for those starting out. I did Chadderton before Stockport away the other week. 4 lapper but such a lovely park and vibe. Less than a hundred each week with a nasty hill four times but really what parkrun is all about

Just did sub 24 at Abbey Park Parkrun. That’s been a really long hard run mentally and physically to get back towards these times. As ever with your PBs, this was a surprise but I felt so strong in the mid part
