He’s poison because he only cares about himself, not the club. It’s a running theme. He’ll play his brand of football because it keeps getting him jobs, not results.

You remember that Pearson bloke? There was someone who you could tell wanted the club to be successful. His tactics weren’t always great, but you could tell from minute 1 that he was trying to improve the club’s fortunes.

Martin is here to make it all about him. That’s his personality. He doesn’t care if the style of football doesn’t work, because what’s important to him is that it makes him look like a visionary. And when it doesn’t work, he can just say the players weren’t ready for it. He’s cut from the same cloth as Rodgers and it was his personality that killed us. You can’t have characters like that managing things.

I would be happy to see a manager who says he wants to play fast, attacking football, take risks in the opposition half, and for the players, playing for the big club of this division, to back themselves to outscore teams. More than that, a manager who does what he says he’s going to do.

You speak as if people wouldn’t be happy with any manager - when in fact the club have hired the one man absolutely everybody doesn’t want. That’s after numerous appointments of no marks, inexperienced media darlings, and every single one playing this horrendous possession-centric football which has been repeatedly discredited on a statistical, logical and entertainment level.

Your post only makes you another disingenuous gaslighter. You know full well what we want. You just don’t like hearing because then you’d have to accept that every single thing about this club you devote your time to is a disgrace and a waste of your time.

Again, this fan base and forum is full of people who think that positivity is a greater virtue than honesty or pride. Wake up.

Gaslighting? wtf are you on about mate 🤣. I get you don’t rate Martin. I actually sense you hate the guy but you don’t talk for me. Considering the depths we have plummeted to, I had no issue with Martin being appointed. I generally like the style of football he plays like I liked the style of football Enzo played. I don’t agree with everything he does but then I don’t think there’s a manager out there that we all will ever agree with.

I genuinely don’t know what you want mate. The club sale and the owners leaving doesn’t mean the football stops. In this period when everyone wants the owner to sell up m, including me, I will still support the team and applaud effort on the pitch and call out a lack of effort on the pitch.

Your last paragraph, basically suggesting that anyone who doesn’t agree with your opinion and might support the team on the pitch in a positive way is less honest or lacking in pride suggests it’s you that needs to ‘Wake up.’

Braybrooke, Joseph and Page played again and looked great. We had 24 shots - hit the woodwork twice. They didn’t threaten. Their GK was MOTM.

A lot of people are so desperate to get him sacked that everything is viewed in the negative. Bizarre at this stage of the season, particularly considering the rebuild being undertaken.

and how many of those were big or even reasonable chances? All I can think is Bob the Throbs lob and Cullen right at the end. 75% possession for two chances with any meaning is in fact not a good performance.

Joseph and Braybrooke both had good chances as well.

When? because the chances I remember Braybrooke having were the one that hit the outside of the post from outside the box after a mazy run, and the shot from a corner, again from outside the box, which the keeper saved. Joseph similarly a shot from the edge of the box tipped wide and iirc one from the edge of the box which hit the bar. These are not good chances, they are good shots, there is a difference. All would have been goal of the month contenders if they had gone in because they are ones that rarely go in. They are low quality chances, low xG chances, and being hit well doesn't make them good chances.

Braybrooke scuffed a shot after being played through by souttar, if he was more composed he would've got better connection or turned inside past the defender.

And the JJ shot that was tipped over, if he had gone low and across the keeper would have most likely been a goal - similar to the goal dennis scored against us for Burton.

Both were promising positions that were let down by the decision making.

You conveniently forgot Joseph hitting the crossbar, Braybrooke hitting the post, Burns near post effort in the first half and their goalie getting MOTM.

expressly didn't forget Braybrooke or Joseph. Burns fair enough, I don't remember him touching the ball at all

Do you watch with your eyes closed or just have incredibly poor memory?

do you understand the concept of hyperbole to make a point? Burns did not influence the game at the weekend. Obviously he did literally touch the ball but his impact was so non existent he might as well not have had a touch.

Poor attempt at a joke.

Especially when burns had one of the most memorable moments of the game with his cross field 60yard switch backwards to get MK dons on the attack.
