The People's Hero Posted 28 April 2006 Posted 28 April 2006 Well done to all those who took part in and organised the quiz, as well as the auction and raffle that followed. Over 300 folk turned up, and between us we raised over £5000. Steve and his wife were both there and were deeply touched by the volume of support. I hope our efforts have gone some way towards making their lives easier and helping his recovery. Congratulations. It's reading things like this that really do raise a smile. Well done to all concerned.
