Strokes Posted 6 January 2006 Share Posted 6 January 2006 Goalkeeper Conrad Logan joined the Pilgrims on a seven-day emergency loan in December 2005. The teenage Leicester City stopper was recruited on loan with Michel Kuipers having returned to parent club Brighton and Hove Albion. With Nathan Abbey on loan at Leyton Orient and Chris Wright struggling with a hamstring injury, United were short of options between the sticks, so manager Steve Evans turned to old friend Craig Levein at Leicester and signed Logan on a short-term deal. The Republic of Ireland under-18 international made his Pilgrims' debut in the goalless draw at Lincoln City on Boxing Day and performed with real credit, making a host of fine saves.
