Disillusioned Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 I hereby declare a temporary cessation of hostilities in the bitter Leicester Civil War (which has caused terrible losses in the sale of matchday tickets and the obliteration of our awayday legions) in honour of our dramatic and historic victory. Troops may fraternise in 'no fans land', exchange Woodbines for Schnapps and gawp at porno pictures of wives and girlfriends (sorry Lisa but I am an unreconstructed MCP and proud of it). The question of the manager's future (IN or OUT) is strictly verbotten... ...until 17.00 hours, Saturday 14th January. By Order Of The General Staff, City Supreme Command.
Chimp Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Disillusioned? I think 'Delusional' may be more apt.

The People's Hero Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Absolutely. Now lets talk about all the Spurs fans in the pub I watched the game in and the anguished look on their faces when we snatched the win! Timeless and priceless. Thankyou Leicester, once again you've got me smiling.

Thankyou Leicester, once again you've got me smiling. A guy behind me in our Union said, when we scored, "Well that officially completes the worst week ever for me". He had a special expression on his face.
The People's Hero Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 I don't think I'll be particularly welcome in that particular Spurs supporting pub for a little while now!
