Walkers Wonderkid Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 from teamtalk.com Leicester manager Craig Levein has hinted striker Matty Fryatt could be in line for a full home debut against Cardiff this weekend. The 19-year-old joined the Foxes last week and appeared as a second-half substitute during the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. But Levein has now lined up Fryatt for a starting berth, saying: "Matty is a young lad who we believe has fantastic potential and like a lot of the players here, he's got his best years ahead of him. "He's someone who will develop into a very good player for Leicester City, we have high hopes for him. "He's the type of player who, if the ball is bouncing around in the box for any length of time, will get on the end of it. "Hopefully he can get off to a good start on Saturday at least there is something to make you want to go and watch city on saturday

Chimp Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 I didnt hear it in the ground but we all sang in the pub before the game Can you remember Daz! Does it work though? The song has got a bit of a gap in the middle... We've got Matty Fryatt [2 beat pause] We've got Matty Fryatt [etc] ...knowing the way sounds echoes around the stands and the oft bad timing of the fans I can see the gap causing some problems. Maybe put some claps or, um, a 'Yeah' in there, maybe?

Funny you should say that we all went du du du! but that wouldnt work in a ground especially with our "vocally challenged support!" back to the drawing board?

Ah, maybe: [fan A] We've got Matty Fryatt [fan B] Matty Fryatt! [fan A] We've got Matty Fryatt [etc] That fills the gap nicely.
