davieG Posted 3 March 2006 Posted 3 March 2006 Foxes Fans Will Look Good As New Foxes fans will be able to look as good as new as Leicester City fight to preserve their Championship status this season. In a new initiative by the club, supporters who return their old LCFC replica shirts to the City Megastore will receive substantial discounts on a replacement new home jersey. Fans who hand back their shirt can buy a replacement adult shirt for £10 - representing a saving of £5, and a children's shirt for just £7 - a reduction of £3. All the shirts handed in by fans to the club will be donated to charitable organizations. Retail manager Ben Swift said: "Our final 10 games of the season are of massive importance to the club. "Now fans can wear a brand new shirt for the rest of the season at a fraction of the original price at the start of the campaign. "And they will also be helping charitable organizations as well because the club will distribute all the returned shirts to worthy causes." The offer started yesterday and runs until March 25 and applies only to the Megastore at the Walkers Stadium. Shirts must be in a reasonable and clean condition and the club reserves the right not to accept shirts which do not meet this criteria. This offer applies only to home shirts.
Jonesy_rules Posted 3 March 2006 Posted 3 March 2006 Nope, like to keep all the shirts, as a memory for years to come!

I think it means if you bring back previous season's kits eg the ones with Walkers/LG on, you can have this season's kit that'll be out of date come may for £10. A bargain

Guest Posted 3 March 2006 Posted 3 March 2006 Seeing as this seasons shirt will be sold for a tenner in a few months time, it seems a bit of a rip off to me!

But they've trown in the word 'Charity' to make people think it's a great deal. Think how great it'd be on the next Live Aid appeal to see 30 little kids running around the dusty plains of africa with 'We 8 Derby' or 'Akinbiyi 22' on their backs. Oh the pride!
