Knighton Matt Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 Can't beat a bit of Bobby Davison and David Lowe for me!

Flemmish Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 Defo mate. I think that was the game Collymore had that awful injury to Too right. He broke his leg when his studs became twisted in the turf Edit: It was against Derby he broke his leg, not Sunderland.
Collymore Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 Too right. He broke his leg when his studs became twisted in the turf Derby away.

Flemmish Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 You Sure>? Am sure it was Sunderland I am sure, I've checked and it was against Derby. He would have to be extremly unfortunate to score a hat-trick and then break his leg.
Collymore Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 You Sure>? Am sure it was Sunderland that was the hattrick

LCFC UK Posted 19 March 2006 Author Posted 19 March 2006 Ian Marshalls name has to be mentioned in this thread. I second that. That goal against Athletico Madrid, good old Marshal, Loved his Cigarettes
Collymore Posted 19 March 2006 Posted 19 March 2006 Ian Marshalls name has to be mentioned in this thread. Collymore and Heskey for me though ...and also needs to be mentioned in the legends thread too.
Newcastle_Fox Posted 20 March 2006 Posted 20 March 2006 Best partnership for potential would have been Heskey & Collymore, what might have been? Best partnership I have seen is Heskey and Cottee, Heskey doing all the work and taking 2 men to mark him then cottee the poacher in space who could find the back of the onion bag.
Scarby Posted 20 March 2006 Posted 20 March 2006 that have pkayed together and i have seen cottee(34) and heskey(46) collymore wasnt here long enough, nor was deano really but if i could any 2 players ever would have to be the two Arthurs: rowley(265) and chandler (273)
spirefox Posted 20 March 2006 Posted 20 March 2006 1. Worthington and Earle 2.Lineker and Smith 3.Bent and Dickov
bigneville Posted 20 March 2006 Posted 20 March 2006 Ian Marshalls name has to be mentioned in this thread. Collymore and Heskey for me though If we're talking class, God himself Stevie Walsh was a quality part time striker....
Thracian Posted 20 March 2006 Posted 20 March 2006 Mine? Collymore and Heskey, that game against Sunderland a few season ago, think we won 5-2? They looked like Dynamite! Whats your best frontline?
