Cobbo Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Went down today to Slater Street for the first time in a while today to see the Monarch's race Norwich. We thrashed them in the rain I would recommend going to watch it to anyone if you have a few hours free on a Sunday afternoon in the summer, it's free to get in and cracking entertainment My dad used to race for 'em in the 60's, 70's and 80's which is why I have been to watch in the past and is plastered about the club room on various cuttings and pictures. Find out more about them and how to get there if you fancy it ever here
Bert Posted 10 April 2006 Posted 10 April 2006 I was playing football down there at St Margarets Pastures, we walk by the track every week down by the canal! You should've come and watch me kick some a55 at football Cobbo!!

I'm too big for the whole speedway thing, generally better off being a midget, which is why my dad was good It's a nice couple of hours out though, birrof excitement
