I wasn't saying that Birch was "more effective" than Foxes Trust at raising issues in the minds of fans - just that he is no more embarrasing, than a Trust who don't APPEAR to question the Board. I've done a quick 'trawl' of all the recent Trust posts on the Foxestalk Forum - and can find NO CRITICISM of the Board ("we've had DISCUSSIONS with Andrew Taylor and Tim Davies" etc - but no 'steer' on the outcome) - do they feel all is 'ticketyboo' with the club and it's finances and direction the Board is pushing us in ?! And as far as I can see, all the Trust seems to concern itself with, is 5-a-side football, tournaments, community events, smoking bans and all the marketing/partnership c**p that seems to pre-occupy football at the moment !

I believe we had re-posted links to this topic recently, but you may have missed them

One of the main topics revisited with both of the above has been the One Year Kit cycle which we have always opposed from day one & publically stated so at the time.

Here is our criticism after the failure to mention the one year cycle just prior to announcing it in March 05

Our survey of members was then presented to the club & published on our website in 2 parts

Having suffered the reduced sales as we stated would happen, those leading the club have now admitted that the one year cycle was not a good decision. The problem now is the signed contract with JJB & whether they will be able to re-negotiate, which we will continue to push for.

Financially things are very tight following the loss of the parachute payment, the club will not be in financial difficulties, but if ST sales do not hold up the club could face little or no additions to the squad or selling a player to release funds
