people saying Scowcroft was 'brilliant' last night really have been starved of some good football! He didn't even win his susal high proportion of headers and gave away a lot of fouls abliet he played we;l on the deck in the secodn half.

Agree with davie G that it was an exceleltn team performance where everyone gave their all and was lookign to give option but individually it was far from otustanding apart from Nalis.

Pressman 7 - Superb save, will give him confidence after the crewe howler.

Canero 7 - Superb support going forward and reliable in defence.

Heath 7 - Great to see his confidence up again, a well timed header for the goal.

Dabizas 7 - Good interceptions and won a lot in the air.

Stewart 7 - Classy backheel and good forward play, looked comfortable at left back.

Gillespie 6 - Good to see him willing to take players on, still needs match practise but promising.

Nalis 8 - Superb strike, makes it look so easy, distribution superb.

Gudjonsson 6 - Broke down attacks along with Nalis and made some good simple passes.

Tiatto 9 - He's here,hes there......superb energetic display, faught for every ball,showed the commitment and desire that warrents the armband, and a goal at the end of it!

Scowcroft 7 - Did his job and held the ball up well also on occaisions.

Connolly 7 - Decent movement and lay offs but needs to take shots on.

Morris 6 - good early showing, looks lively and quick, will provide good competition on the wing.

Gemmill ? - did he touch the ball?
