dandannieldanok Posted 11 June 2006 Posted 11 June 2006 Don't know if any of you are bothered but Rafael Nadal has beaten Roger Federer again on clay in 4 sets. The French Open is the only one Federer needs for him to have the privelige of winning all of the majors.
Benji Posted 11 June 2006 Posted 11 June 2006 It's grass season now though.... Federer's turn to win every tonrnament

The French Open is the only one Federer needs for him to have the privelige of winning all of the majors. Quite a few legends have struggled in Paris over the years. If memory serves I don't think McEnroe or Sampras ever won a tournament there. Nadal looks unstoppable on clay - is it now 60 wins in a row on that? But to be accepted as a true great, he'll have to prove himself on other surfaces. If nothing else, it may make Wimbledon a little more exciting this year.
Benji Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 What is tennis? Not a pleb sport yet so you'll have to wait a few generations

Yer me too Maths but it was in the morning though and I found myself in a great position; BBC 2 - Queens - Henman vs. Agassi ITV - World Cup - Australia vs. Japan So I kept switching back and forth, and I must say he played well, however Agassi wasnt at his best. Thankfully I'll have all my exams finished for Wimbledon and the knock-out stages of the World Cup
