Benji Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 What chance have we got of changing things in football when it starts from the top? Would be quite hypocritical for FIFA to punish Juventus now...
breadandcheese Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 Why would an official from Botswana need that many tickets to see England play? Sure, maybe 2 or 3 for his family, but 12!!!!! How many other FIFA officials take 12 tickets? I wish FIFA would actually look at their ticket policy. It is ridiculous. Edit. Just found this quote from one of the daily newspapers about ticket policy at the world cup. Shows how ridiculous FIFA ticket policy really is: The English FA is already furious with FIFA for allotting fans just 14,000 tickets for the three Group B games - fewer than offered to fans of football minnows Togo for their group matches. With more than 100,000 English fans in Germany - by far the biggest foreign following - they are prime targets for touts charging up to €1,000 for €100 tickets.
Jay Posted 18 June 2006 Posted 18 June 2006 I did hear that one of the major sponsors that may or may not sell tasteless fast food was given over 19000 tickets x that by the 15 official sponsors and you have a massive number of tickets floating around that will no doubt be heading straight for the black market!!
