shen Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 Best world cup 2006 game so far that I have watched in my opinion. Thrilling goals and end to end footballl which is loads more exciting than the Germany v Sweden game which was very much one sided. Deffo a toss up between this one and the Croatia - Australia game for the most exciting game of the tournament so far No doubt Germany - Argentina will be a cracker!
Guest Gist Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 I thought Mexico could have won that if it wasn't for the player who got injured they really needed a fresh pair of legs up front because you could see Borgetti had had enough. Credit to Mexico though as someone said they don't deserve to be out the tournement just yet on the performances but that's the way it is. I'm sure there are several Mexican players that have caught the eyes of managers across Europe after that display.

Didn't manage to watch the Croatia v Australia Yes, Germany v Argentina will be very good. The two best teams of the tournament so far.
Guest Gist Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 I think there is a lot of very good games still to come. I'm looking forward to Ghana v Brazil.

dandannieldanok Posted 25 June 2006 Author Posted 25 June 2006 After watching Ballack and Riquelme in the respective games yesterday, I feel Argentina have a lot to worry about whereas the Germany back line might not have as many problems. Ballack was emmense against Sweden, Mourinho is one lucky man!
