Well the plate now sits proudly on a Mini Cooper and the car owner's husband has just thought up the perfect birthday/anniversary present as a follow up - the car has been entered into the increasingly famous Italian Job rally (key in Italian Job to view the site). The car will be resprayed in Liverpool colours and the whole concept of the rally involves a wonderful tour of Italian Cities, a go on the rooftop test track used in the Italian Job film, a visit to Imolla and black tie dinner/dance to finish. Furthermore as well as enjoying the excitement, the birthday present involves raising money for Children's Charities. Well over £1m has already been donated to good causes with each entrant expected to raise upwards of £1,500. Who says life can't be full of fun. Has anyone else given/received a really imaginative present?
Daggers Posted 7 July 2006 Posted 7 July 2006 Best damn car ever made ~ and I don't like cars. We had a 1300i Cooper, what fun that was, and I always fancied the ItJob as a run...oh well, maybe when I've got money coming in again. What a lucky bugger...
