Darlington had a "formal offer" for Joachim rejected last week, with Pilgrims boss Steve Evans stating the bid was a "sizeable five-figure-sum".

A League 2 club, especially of Boston's stature, can't afford to turn down a price like that too many times.

I did read it an unless they are like Rotherham (basically bankrupt), which I don't think they are, I am sure it would be more beneficial to keep him so they can push for the play-offs.

1) It's Boston, they're a bag of knackers, they're getting no where near the play-offs

2) 5 figures is good for a League 2 club, most transfers down there go for nowt

Still surprised at this. I thought Boston were JJ's local club.

But if he settles at Darlo and stays fit, he should be good for 20 goals this season.
