Probably ever.

Possibly. But then, you didn't used to strike me as one to have a moan or be grumpy. I thought that was left to Thracian and BartonFox most of the time

I think it's the thought of work tomorrow, even though I have that feeling most days except Friday and Satdee.

Bah humbug.

Just over a day to go now but I'm not worried. Too late now to change them and worying won't be of any use anyway so why worry?! Should have put more effort in before the exams instead of wasting all your energy worrying after the event. That's not a dig at anyone but that's my view on things. Having said that, I can sympathise with some of my mates that are really dreading tomorrow because they really want to stay on but don't think their results will be good enough. It'll probably be the kind of shock they needed before the exams to get their arses into gear earlier. Too late now though.

I'll know where I've gone wrong if my grades aren't as good as predicted. Poor revision. No excuses. Just hope that I'll get the grades to stay on to learn from that mistake.

As lookwhaticando mentionned, I'll probably end up in a field and wake up having forgotten all about the results anyway!

That's the spirit!

My approach to exams is very slack. I study as little as possible. I'm fortunate because I get away with it every time, basically. :ermm:

During my GCSE study break, I did perhaps 2 hours of studing in total... whereas most of my friends taking their GCSEs did that kinda time for each subject, each day, covering perhaps 3 or 4 subjects. I just wanted to play football :P

It's a bad habit, and unless you're comfortable with all the material, I wouldn't recommend this approach.

You sound similar to me. Revision didn't work for me this time around. Couldn't concentrate and didn't see the benefit of trying to force stuff in. It was like bashing my head against a brick wall. I went for the cram approach. During the two days before my first science paper I just read every module that would be tested in that paper and jogged my memory. I felt it worked well so did the same for paper 2 aswell. The only reason I think this will have worked is because I understood the work in class at the time of doing it. If I had pissed about in science lessons then I would've been panicing big style whilst flicking through my textbook but it just refreshed what I had been taught, as you say.

I tried a similar thing for Maths but the fact was I had never really understood the work to begin with so I was trying to learn things a few days before the exam.

It's all about learning as you go along I guess. Most important thing now is to enjoy what remains of the holidays and start a fresh in September, if that's not being a bit presumptious!

I don't ;cram'.

My theory is, the more you try to learn at the last minute, the more you're likely to forget.

Another tactic is to study only stuff I don't know - in advance. If I'm comfortable with the material, I don't study it. Last time I studied stuff I knew, I placed doubts in my mind, and I wasn't confident about the answers I put to paper :pinch:

As for keeping fresh until september, you're dead right. Difference is, I've been finished since April. lol

So in effect, I've had 4 months of keeping fresh ;)

I didn't have to wait much more than 2 weeks for my results either, no months of waiting. :)

Revision wasn't my problem. Staying focused in the lessons was. So when I was revsising, I was reading things and going over things and thinking "I swear we weren't taught this" when actually we had been. Bit of a sh*t year for me really.

Still ... it'll be over tomorrow

Im getting mine tomorrow, nerves are starting to kick in knowing its only a day away. also my birthday is on saturday, so my results will make my birthday good/bad depending...

Yes, yes it is.

Something I learnt the hard way this year.

Just finished my second year of Uni and I realised 5 weeks before I had 9 exams in 9 days that I didn't know anything, literally.

Learning those 9 modules in 5 weeks was an experience I don't recommend, I spent every day from 9 to 6 in my Uni library working.

Got a 2.1 in the end though, so all's well that ends well :)

There isn't any way to change them, that's why I'm not stressing about it or worrying about opening them tomorrow.. Whatever I get, I get.. Anyhow, good luck to all of you (as I've posted 2 or 3 times already on this thread) and I hope you all pass :)
