Some people got like 7 A*s and 3 A's today and they were proper moaning to their mates that they didn't do as well as they should have

There's always people like that. Their stupid, well obviously not academicaly... but you know what I mean.

Anyway well done to all who got what they wanted in their GCSE's. People say their easy, and with hindsight I would agree, but when I did them I had to work hard. A-Levels are much harder true... but you are taught to pass them (hopefully!) and by the time you do them will be perfectly capable, so good luck with themm and ignore people who say GCSE's are worthless. Well done.

People have different hopes though. Some will be happy with 3 c's some will be not be happy with 10 A's. If you are really clever and get 2 A*'s and 8 A's or something, then of course you are going to be dissapointed. Just cos most people will have a few A's then B's they personally would be delighted with all A's but as I said different people want different things. Most of the time, people who are dissapointed with getting high grades are usually the ones who push to do even better and eventually get the best jobs.

my brain hurts after having to write/say A's B's C's ALL DAY!

Problem is, I don't think G is a real grade... after F it's U or N, usually...

There might be a G depending on exam board, but I've never seen one.

:P

Shame tho... we could do with a K... actually, just a good old C would suffice.

F U C lol

All GCSEs are graded from A* to G and U.

A Levels are graded from A to E and U.

Didn't know we had a G... my understanding from when I did mine back in 2001 was that after F you dropped off the scale (and got N or U, depending on the course).

Perhaps my memory is just hazy :sweating::thumbup:
