I was gutted when Northampton didn't get city status back in 2000.

Seems the solution to the problem is to lock billabob up, he proclaims to be the one-man baby-maker.

The Town tried again in 2002 and failed then as well.

I've been saying that the town is a frustrated City, and have saying this since they failed.

I'd live in Northants again if (when) I move back. It's one of the options.

Part of me likes living in Derbyshire (not near Derby itself, further north). And of course, Leicestershire would be in the mix - be handy for city games
