davieG Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Dont eat Minstrels for breakfast I always find it's much more satisfying to get them to sing a song or recite a poem and save the eating of them until the eve of the day.

Nationwider Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Never have a Snickers before 9am either. The self-loathing lasts all day.

Knighton Matt Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Dont eat Minstrels for breakfast How bizarre, I effectively had minstrels for lunch today! Definitely not a staple breakfast food as is the case with tomato ketchup!
Deathside Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Dont eat Minstrels for breakfast I think they work OK for breakfast if you are in a tent at a festival and you wash them down with a large portion of vodka But then again I'm not likely to be at a festival again for some time so I'll heed your warning - Thanx

Perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner...
Deathside Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Speaking of which did any other festivalgoers find themselves eating an abnormal amount of pringles in one weekend? Perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner... My standard/compulsary breakfast at a festival consists of 1 can Tesco beans & vegetarian sausage (cold - straight from the tin) 1/3 bottle cheap (Tesco white label) vodka (1/3 because the bottle has to last 3 days) 2 tins Red Bull Optional Extras: Banana Pot noodle Nutrigrain bar(s) New additions this year on the optional list Boiled egg Boiled new potatoes I should point out that the above items were boiled in the home environment pre festival - I wouldn't be safe with any kind of cooking implements on a camp site (The hot water for the pot voodles is borrowed from a camping neighbour)
