lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Are we comparing sizes this evening?!?! Yes. And after I've sized up your disk, I'm going to size up your frame. Read into that as you please.
cisono Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 How big is your disk? Mine's 100GB Mine's 150GB
lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Mine's 150GB My 100GB drive is my laptop. My desktops, at respective places of residence are 320GB and 290GB.

lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Yeah right. You are making this up. Are you doubting my vast capacity?
cisono Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Are you doubting my vast capacity? Indeed How many networked computers have you got and... how are they networked?
lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Indeed How many networked computers have you got and... how are they networked? At my dad's appartment, there's just the one desktop computer (one 40GB hard drive, one 250GB one). We just use Windows networking (Windows workgroup stuff). At my mum's place, my desktop has a 320GB drive (RAID, two 160GB's) and again, I connect to it using Windows workgroup stuff.

OK, I have a linux PC with RAID (2x80Gb, plus another drive, not sure what capacity), then my Windows machine (this one) and a linux "experimentation" PC. Plus another PC and a laptop (currently on loan). I also have a very old laptop- so old it doesn't even have USB: but I got it for free and it can play music. Networking-wise, fast ethernet connection plus a Wi-Fi router and bluetooth from my Windows PC.
